Purifying and recharging Peacock Pyrite
It is not advisable to purify chalcopyrite in water, as this oxidizes it and gradually alters its appearance. We therefore recommend purification with salt (without direct contact), or by fumigation.
To recharge its energy, expose it to sunlight for 2 to 3 hours. Chalcopyrite can also be recharged when placed on rock crystal or amethyst.
